Environmental Policy
Saunier Duval is a part of the Vaillant Group. Manufacturing activities on site
include a press and paint cell and assembly tracks.
The company is committed to minimising environmental impacts through the setting
of objectives and targets, whilst providing resources to support the following aims :
  1. Systems : development and maintenance of an Environmental Management System according to ISO14001 requirements, to steer improvement through planning, target setting and reviewing performance.

  2. Continual Improvement : co-operation with regulatory authorities, customers, and suppliers in continually improving our environmental performance.

  3. Legislation : compliance with site specific and general environmental legislation and codes of practice.

  4. Pollution prevention : seeking to prevent pollution through incorporating cleaner technologies into business development and setting contingency plans for environmental incidents.

  5. Product Design : incorporation of environmental considerations unto product design.

  6. Resource Use : achieving efficient use of materials and energy in our key operation and processes.

  7. Processes : periodic evaluation of environmental impacts of your business, with a view to minimising environmental risk and hazard.

  8. Waste Management : looking for opportunities to prevent, reduce, re-use and recycle wastes, and ensure  responsible disposal.

  9. Awareness : promotion of an understanding of relevant environmental issues amongst employees, contractors and suppliers, and provision of training to encourage environmental protection and good practice.
